I created a bag that would carry all of my watercolor painting equipment together and safely- no more worries about water spilling and ruining my sketchbook, or brush bristles being bent. This bag is my solution.

Required Equipment:
- sketchbook
- paints and palate
- brushes, pencils, pens
- water container (with water)
- towel
- artist's tape OR masking tape
- extra water color paper

Notes:
- I use QOR watercolors, which are in tubes, and I use the inside of their case for my palate. So for this bag, it means the palate and case are all-in-one.
- I tend to use artist's tape, but I will also use masking tape, or blue tape, so the tape loop has to be large.

Paint brush holder:
- Rolls up to encase the paint brushes. This protects the paint brushes from the bag and the zipper and lengthens the lifespan of the brushes.
- Three layers: cotton quilting fabric, interfacing, and cotton quilting fabric. Creates a soft but sturdy "case".
-Three rows of elastic allows the consumer to decide which way the brushes should lay, and to store longer brushes / pens / pencils / markers.
- Differing sizes of elastics allows for different brush sizes. One can also hold more than one brush if desired.

Extra Pocket:
- Flat pocket for small flat things, such as extra watercolor paper.
- It is somewhat large, so could conceivably fit other things if desired.

Tape Loop:
- The tape is stored "on top" of the flat pocket, secured by a loop with a snap. A large loop allows for different kinds of tape to be stored.
Paints/Palate Pocket:
- The paint box is held in place by a simple pocket half it's size, and strapped over with a black elastic that can be pulled to the side wheh the user wants to access the paints.
Exterior of the Bag:
- Sleek, no outside pockets.
- Durable and thick (made from thrown-away homegood fabric samples). If the user is briefly out in the rain, should be enough fabric between the exterior and the contents that will protect it.
- Water container on the outside allows for quick realization if it is leaking or not, also removable.
- Long strap makes it easily portable.
- Patch I made hand sewn onto the outside for extra personalization.
